Department of Political Science in collaboration with the Legal Literacy Cell, NSS Unit, and IQAC, Shillong College organised a lecture on the theme "Minority Rights and Social Justice: Constitutional Safeguards and Challenges" to commemorate Ambedkar Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, on April 14, 2026 in the College Auditorium. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Daiahunlin Mawlong, Assistant Professor, Shillong Law College.
