National Voluntary Blood Donation Day (NVBDD) 2026

Shillong College observed National Voluntary Blood Donation Day (NVBDD) 2026 with a Blood Donation Drive under the theme "One Drop of Humanity, Give Blood." The programme was jointly organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS), National Cadet Corps (NCC), Swasth Bharat (Health Care) Cell, Youth Red Cross and IQAC, Shillong College in collaboration with Nazareth Hospital, Shillong and Meghalaya State Blood Transfusion Council. The drive started by an awareness programme on the importance of voluntary blood donation and encouraging students and youth to come forward to save lives. Volunteers and donors actively participated in the programme, upholding the message that every drop of blood counts.
